Romantic Blush Pink Tablescape (That Will Make Your Guests Swoon)

This gorgeous black, white and blush pink tablescape is so romantic it will make all of your guests swoon over how pretty it is.

This year I’m trying something I haven’t done before. Hosting a Galentine’s Day dinner for a few of my girlfriends!

I love the idea of celebrating your female friendships the day before Valentine’s Day…even if it did originally come from a TV sitcom.

To be true to the original show, I should technically be hosting a brunch. But since Feb. 13 falls on a Tuesday and I am not part of the “ladies who lunch” set (in other words, I have to work), dinner it is!

In any case, I’m going to need to set the table…so I put together this Galentine’s Day blush pink tablescape in honor of the occasion. I think it’s pretty enough to use for any occasion when you want a romantic table setting!

Blush pink centerpiece

Last week, I came up with some DIY floral centerpiece ideas that are really easy to make.

This week I’m using them as the inspiration for my blush pink tablescape.

I mixed and matched a few of them down the center of the table to create a really pretty (but easy to see across) focal point for the table.

Originally, I thought I would use a plain white tablecloth but it was a bit bland for my taste. So I switched it out for a black and white striped one* which I like so much better! It really makes the pink pop.

The stripes in the tablecloth and the row of roses down the center all draw your eye to the wall at the end of the table.

So I had to make sure there was something to look at there, too 🙂

This Valentine’s Day heart wreath* ties in with the roses on the table perfectly.

The Place Settings

For the place settings, I decided to use pink and white plates on top of white chargers.

The colors go perfectly with the roses.

One of my favorite ways to get the “perfect” napkin is to pair 2 of them together. One of them provides the main color or interest, while the other one has pretty trim.

In this case, I rolled a white napkin with black writing* and a gold-edged one* together to come up with the perfect match for my table.

Of course, I can’t forget the napkin rings*. These are actually the only new thing I bought for the table. I love them so much, they may make an appearance on another table this spring 🙂

One thing I will mention…the ring on these napkin rings is larger and in a different location (relative to the flowers) than most. So if you’re thinking of buying them, keep that in mind.

Some gold cutlery* and pink glasses* completed the Galentine’s Day blush pink table setting.

Finally, I sprinkled some vase filler* in gold dots, pink hearts and pink flowers around the table.

As an added bonus, this vase filler collection comes with Shamrocks, too…so you can use it for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day.

Now that I have the table figured out, I can’t wait to host my girls night in 🙂

Of course, all of this will have to be away this weekend in favor of footballs and beer (Super Bowl party!)…but it will be easy to set back up now that I know what I’m doing 🙂
